My name is Gabriel Espinosa, I am 13 years old and I love to game and create. I started gaming when I was around 7 years old and ever since then it has been my hobby. I love to design things out of scratch. I also enjoy problem solving.

STEM

For a STEM project, we designed and 3D-printed small cars. Then we designed a racetrack out of cardboard and we raced the cars. It was very fun.

Project Based Learning

For my PBL project in our Food and Water unit, I decided to make a water filter out of a tube and a 3D printed funnel at the end. I put many things in the tube and I was able to take dirty water and turn it into cleaner water.

Gaming, STreaming & Computer Design

I play a lot of video games. I love to play games that require strategy and games that challenge me. I started off by first playing Minecraft with my cousin. I then started playing more games and eventually, I decided I wanted to make my own Gaming PC. Ever since I got my PC, I have loved to stream on twitch. I feel good when I can entertain someone and make some money by doing something I enjoy.

Extracurricular Activities

I play the drums, enjoy soccer and hockey, and have participated in Montessori Model UN.

Family, Travel & Fun

I enjoy traveling and going to new places. Every summer I go to Chincoteague Island in Virginia and I love it because I get to see so much wildlife and enjoy the beach. Two summers ago I took a trip to the Galapagos Islands and it was very cool. I got to be in a Spanish-speaking country where I could use my second language . I got to go snorkeling and I got to see so much wildlife.

I also enjoy creating a lot of projects at home with the help of my dad who is an artist and my mom, a Montessori teacher.
